Hello,

Recently when i was playing guildwars I noticed that I can't kill monsters at all I mean unless I 55 them which I can't for most of the monsters at Eye of the North, Even when I take a full party of henchmen (EotN henchies) I notice that am not helping alot only dereg some enemies so I need help with skills for normal PvE not farming or anything.

I have Droknar's forge Armor with insigias.

For the weapons I have Tormentor's staff, Morgriff's scepter (both unique items) and basic wand/grim cesta for the 55 build.

I only have prophecies and Eye of the North Campaigns.

And am Necromancer/Monk and Necromancer/Mesmer.

Another question is: how do you get skills for your heroes ? only buying them ? because didn't see any quests for them and what are some good farming places in eye of the north that you can 55/ss at ?

Note: I've read the sticky but wasn't helpful to me since I don't have either factions nor do I have Nightfall.

I searched PVX but couldn't find a suitable build since most of them require other campaigns.

So i'm stumped on what elite you could use.

Heros use the same skills you have - eg your a monk and you aquire say ray of judgement ( i know its factions skill ) then all your heros if set with monk profession will have instant access for the skill.
Also Eotn has hero trainers who for hero points will let you take a skill from them for free - these skills can also be accessed by your chr ( again if same profession ).

55 builds are usually solo farmers - hero/hench have a habbit of messing you up - you rely on being hit etc and they end up taking the aggro.Only exception is when a 55 teams up with ss necro in a few places ( uw/fow ).

As for 55 places in eotn - tbh i cant think really of any thats easy to get to or farm as theres a wide selection of foes with anti 55 skills - enchant stripping , interupts , knockdowns etc.

Hmm.. a bit unsure about this, but rekoff Broodmother uses Assassin's Promise, shouldn't he be able to cap this one since he got Eye of the north? or is there some kind of restriction on this (since he don't got faction)? anyway.. since you got proph and eye of the north you can test this out if you found the build above helpful/useful.

tbh, I think it's possible.. but I got no way to confirm it

The elite isn't shown if you don't have the campaign it's from, so no, that wouldn't work. Not to mention he couldn't go /sin to cap it, even if it did work.

Also. a 55 with Mantra of Resolve can work for farming Raptors outside Rata Sum.

ok my friend, you have access to the best elite a necro can have [spiteful spirit]. you should use a curses hat with a minor rune (it will give you curses 14) and some more curse skills.
now, you can either go secondary ele and take [glyph of lesser energy] or go secondary mesmer, use [arcane echo] on [spiteful spirit], take some points in inspiration and use an energy gaining interrupt like [power drain].
for the PvE-only skill slot you can take [air of superiority] or any ebon ward you want.
as for farming with a 55 necro, you can (and should) read fuzzy taco's amazing guide on the subject. a nice spot near the Eye itself is where Elsnil Frigidheart spawns, can be done easilly also in HM.

now if you want to go death, you can use the newly changed [Aura of the Lich], which is capped at the last prophecies mission. use a standart MM bar with [blood of the master], [foul feast] (an eotn skill), [barbs] and/or [mark of pain], [ebon battle standard of honor] for damage buff and whatever else you feel like.

ye ofc.. lol.. can't change to assassin anyway. but are you sure it won't even show? seems a bit weird to me

Elites/skills can only be capped from a boss/foe of same primary or secondary as you - so unless you can go /sin you wont see any sin skills with signet of capture.
Also mantra of resolve - the raptors outside rata sum have stance removal so they can remove it and even after they can interupt you.Only the raptorlings inside the can can be 55 except that broodmother can still kill you via twisting jaws as its a touch skill not a damage skill ( ask any perma sins ).

What Shaygo said, if you only have proph, then just go SS curses. You'll have access to another necro hero in Livia after you do some Asuran quests and Hayda the Paragon. You can then set up Livia as a MM so you don't have to, and Hayda works great as a Motivation Para, slap in Vekk/Gwen/Jora as the other hero and take 2 monks, Zho the interruptor and Herta for henchies and you should be rolling.

As a SS Necro, with above skills, stay back/mid-line and cast SS on a mob and change your target once it recharges. Barbs is great for single targets and watching -13/15 dmg numbers on a target is pretty neat. Enfeebling blood is a very good curse skill to help weaken enemies.
